Are you a surveyor thinking about how you can keep doing what you love, with the stability that can at times be elusive in consultancy?Looking for a change?Maas Group is excited to share we are building a team to meet internal survey requirements for our expanding land development, quarrying and civil interests.We’re looking for team players who are keen to contribute to the continued growth of the business and provide reliable survey support to keep our projects moving.If you are a surveyor that enjoys regional projects suited to DIDO site work keen to succeed and align with the values of our group, we would like to speak with you.Overview of the role: Our Project Surveyors take ownership of the delivery of survey support to our Project Management Team.The Civil Surveys Manager will support you in this role where you will be required to have previous experience in the field of surveying and a demonstrated ability to manage data effectively, create machine control files and take precise measurements for setout, as built, & QA reporting purposes for civil construction projects. You will be relied on to accurately record survey data, prepare reliable, clear, concise and fit for purpose survey deliverables.The role requires work to be completed both solo and as part of a surveying team working outdoors in rugged terrain and varied weather conditions as well as in the office which is located in Mudgee.Duties include but not limited to:Existing surface pick-up surveys. Input of design data into survey software for setout. Verify and or establish site survey control that is fit for purpose.Creation of machine control files. Volumes reporting. Accurate setout of structures for the construction team.Works-As-Executed surveys & reporting to project specifications. Well-structured data storage & record keeping. Regular travel as Maas sites cover a broad area of Regional NSW & QLD. To be successful in this role you will need: Hold post-secondary qualifications in surveying or geospatial technology or currently completing a tertiary qualification in surveying. Hold an unrestricted drivers licence. Be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Confidently and safely operate a four-wheel drive survey vehicle in an off-road environment. Be physically fit & capable of efficiently completing the daily tasks of a Project Surveyor. To be committed to working safely.
