Directly reporting to the Quarry Manager, the Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for the ongoing repairs and maintenance on the plant and assets within the hard rock quarry.This is a full-time position located at our Willow Tree quarry site - with genuine opportunities to learn, upskill and expand your knowledge in this role.Key requirements: Carrying out mechanic repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles, plant and mobile equipmentOwnership of major repairs, working efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environmentWork to tight schedules whilst maintaining high quality standards.Coordinating with suppliers sourcing parts on quality and best priceMaintaining professional and clear communication with all staffLiaising with Regional Group supervisors and quarry managers regularlyKnowledge and experience required: Current drivers’ licenseDiesel/Automotive/Mechanical trade qualification2 years + experience in a repair and maintenance roleSound knowledge of diesel engines and emissionsSound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes and suspensionWhite cardAbility to work flexible hoursFull working rights within AustraliaFor more information about this opportunity, please email hr@maasgroup.com.au AUD Willow Tree 2339
