We are currently seeking Heavy Vehicle Mechanics - Truck and Plant, to join our team.Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for ongoing repairs and maintenance of the Maas fleet. About the role:Continuous Improvement for Safe Work practices.Work within workshop rules and regulations at all times.Liaising with direct managers, supervisors and managers daily.Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults.Service and maintain equipment of truck fleet.Work to tight schedules whilst maintaining the highest standards.Adopt and continue with Lean practices to ensure quality and cost efficiency with all repairs and maintenance.Assist with planning and maintaining service schedules.Coordinating with suppliers sourcing parts on quality and best price.Maintaining company tools and equipment.Ownership of major repairs, working efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe environment.Challenge yourself with a mindset of best practice and continuous improvement.Maintaining professional and clear communication with all company staff. Essential Requirements:Valid driver’s licenceRelevant Australian recognised trade certificatesRMS Vehicle inspection ticket.
