This role is suitable for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter that is punctual, has an excellent work ethic, and takes pride in their work.

Open to Agricultural, Road Transport and Light Vehicle Mechanic, looking to transition into Plant Mechanic.

Key requirements:

  • Carrying out mechanic repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles, plant and mobile equipment
  • Ownership of repairs, working efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Work to tight schedules whilst maintaining high quality standards.
  • Coordinating with suppliers sourcing parts on quality and best price
  • Maintaining professional and clear communication with all staff
  • Liaising with supervisors and quarry managers regularly

Knowledge and experience required:

  • Current drivers’ license
  • Mechanical trade qualification
  • 2 years + experience in a repair and maintenance role
  • Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions
  • Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes and suspension
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Full working rights within Australia
