Directly reporting to the Group Health and Safety Manager, the Health and Safety Coordinator will guide our commercial real estate segment to safely undertake their work and assist the ongoing successful delivery of project work. This will be achieved by promoting and improving the health and safety culture and manage on site process and systems to minimise injury and illness.The Health and Safety Coordinator collaborates and partners with the commercial real estate construction Project Managers to develop and implement Health and Safety systems and strategies that enables a positive safety culture to keep our people safe, healthy and well.Responsibilities include:The Health and Safety Coordinator will lead the implementation of Health and Safety strategies to ensure projects are delivered in line with legislative and client requirementsConduct Risk Assessments, SWMS, hazard reporting and proactive safety measures.Maintain Health and Safety reporting systems and actively engage with workers to facilitate a reporting culture to monitor incidents and injuries and identify risks.Conduct internal audit and inspections including the preparation and submission to the client as required under the contract.Collaborate with workers to improve the identification of hazards and risks.Liaise with stakeholders in the development and review of relevant safety strategies to manage areas of non-compliance.Assist with Return-to-Work Coordination when required for specific operations.Conduct Health Safety and Environmental performance monitoring internally and to the client’s requirements.Knowledge and experience required: Relevant qualifications (minimum Certificate IV in Work Heath & Safety)Strong understanding of Work Health and Safety LegislationOperating knowledge of the building construction industry.Experience in Health and Safety (preferably on project work)Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs and systems Well-organised professional with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to be self-directed. Excellent attention to detail a mustMust be self-motivated with the ability to handle, organise and prioritise multiple projects/tasks and able to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.The Health and Safety Coordinator is a permanent, full-time position that provides safety advisory services at a number of projects predominantly within Regional NSW and other locations including interstate as required.For more information about this role, please contact HR@maasgroup.com.au   AUD Dubbo 2830
