Reporting to the General Manager of Asset Management, the Commercial Manager - Fleet, Plant & Equipment will be responsible for commercial planning, performance monitoring and financial compliance across Maas Group Holdings mobile asset pool.This role will support the optimisation of day-to-day operations as well as the acquisition and disposal of mobile assets. The Commercial Manager - Fleet, Plant & Equipment will identify, pursue and capture return on invested capital, value through asset utilisation metrics, lifetime cost effectiveness and profits driven through the acquisition and disposal processes. Key responsibilities: Partner with GM - Asset Management to oversee the operation of the Mobile Assets functions of the Group.Identify opportunities to maximise asset utilisation and return on invested capital.Analyse operational metrics from mobile assets to improve performance and maximise returns.Support daily operations, including workshop optimisation, strategic partnerships, insurance claim management, acquisitions, and disposals.Assess risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and be ready to handle unexpected situations.Fleet planning and performance monitoringDevelopment and implementation of commercial strategiesVolume planning and lifecycle managementUtilise problem solving and solution focused thinking to deliver successful outcomes for commercial opportunitiesPartnering with the business partners to ensure the monthly management reports include key drivers of financial performance appropriate for the respective business segmentsPartnering with the business partners to prepare annual budget packs including key assumptions and templatesBuild effective relationships with key stakeholders across the businessRespectfully challenge team members with a mindset of best practice and continuous improvementExperience and Knowledge Required:Minimum 8+ years qualified experience with a demonstrated understanding of fleet or commercial assetsStrong drive, energy and passionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCA / CPA membership - preferred Proven ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders across a businessProven ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressureFlexible and adaptable approach to achieving outcomesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and agility with various finance packagesFor more information about this role please contact HR@maasgroup.com.au AUDSydney2000
