Business Support Officer

About the Role:

  • Assist with accounts payable, receivable and payroll
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and contractors regarding invoices, payments and other business matters
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management
  • Invoice processing, payment management, record keeping, vendor communication and compliance
  • Provide support to the management team with ad hoc financial requirements and administrative tasks
  • Ensure systems have updated information
  • Assist in the management of training profiles and competencies
  • Ensure business compliance to meet legislation obligations
  • Supporting ongoing changes within the business

 

Pre-Requisites of the Role:

  • Significant demonstrated experience in financial administration and accounts payable within a complex and diverse organisations
  • 5 years' experience in similar role
  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Accounting (preferred)
  • Strong bookkeeping skills, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable and reconciliation with advances MYOB experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers, suppliers and team members
  • A team player who can work efficiently with excellent time management skills, self-motivated and reliable
