About us:Dandy Premix Concrete Pty Ltd HAS over 30 years of experience in the production and supply of quality premixed concrete to customers in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne.Dandy Premix is excited to share we are building a bigger team to meet demands for our expanding business. We are looking for an experienced Boiler Maker to join us in our Cranbourne Workshop who is keen to contribute to the continued growth of the business. About the role:Your role will consist of fabrication, installation, and maintenance of a wide variety of Dandy fixed and mobile plant equipment to ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved. The Boilermaker duties and responsibilities include providing effective and efficient preventative and breakdown maintenance. Duties include:Ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient preventative and breakdown maintenance.Engage in making, fitting, or repairing machines, instruments, equipment, and appliances to ensure Dandy equipment and machines are in optimum condition for their intended use.Ensure all work carried out meets Dandy safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.Demonstrate ability to identify faults using fault-finding techniques with the ability to troubleshoot and rectify problems.Conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensure follow up actions are identified and scheduled.Carry out routine and emergency maintenance and repairs on (Dandy) equipment and machinery as required.Carry out general Boiler making duties including the of welding, cutting, grinding, heat treatment and stress reliving of steels.Undertake installation of new and fabricated componentsAccountable for ensuring that the plant, tools vehicles and safety equipment associated with the role are operated in a safe and effective manner as required and in line with Dandy policies and procedures.Responsible for performing assigned duties in a safe and timely manner.Be committed and abide by all Dandy policies and procedures along with Work Health and Safety legislation requirements.Participate in daily/weekly team meetings and prestart meetings as and when required. About you:Certificate III Boilermaker - Fabrication (Australian Nationally Accredited trade certificate) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and /or relevant qualifications.Minimum 3 years post trade Boilermaker experience.Current driver’s license.White card.Safety conscious attitude.Excellent communication and organization skills.Excellent time management skills.Trouble shooting skills.Ability to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening as required. For further information please contact hr@maasgroup.com.au Apply today as interviews may begin before close date.  AUD Cranbourne 3977
