Brett Harvey Designs and Constructions are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Warranty and Safety Coordinator to join our growing team.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of all warranty and safety compliance activities, including managing defect lists, coordinating trade partners, overseeing WHS and quality control, and supporting the wider construction team.
You’ll be responsible for keeping our warranty processes running efficiently, maintaining high standards of compliance, and supporting the team in delivering safe and quality homes our clients can trust.
Manage warranty administration including data entry, defect lists, issuing work orders and coordinating service personnel
Respond to warranty requests within 24 hours
Schedule and oversee weekly warranty and QA inspections
Monitor and review contractor and supplier SWMS via software systems
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, codes of practice, and company procedures
Support direct reports with trade coordination and conflict resolution
Prepare WHS and warranty performance reports for monthly reviews
Support construction administration tasks, ensuring high-quality documentation and adherence to timeframes
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, trades, and suppliers
Collaborate with the Construction and Warranty Manager to achieve business and safety objectives
Experience in residential construction, ideally within warranty, maintenance or site supervision roles
Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
Experience with defect management systems or post-handover processes
Confident using software such as BuildPass, Framework or similar systems
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
A proactive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work independently
Strong time management and attention to detail
