Directly reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the Implementation Manager will work closely with the Retail segment of the Commercial Properties division
This role oversees implementation of a new ERP for the retail business (Odoo) along with associated processes that delivers continuous improvement, compliance and business synergies that underpin effective operations.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyse critical information and data, eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional (technical) requirements
- Managing the "as is" and "to be" process
- Discover primary business objectives by analysing processes, technologies and systems
- Business process mapping: Provide clear, concise project plans and effectively manage them
- Liaise with external ERP implementation team and other professionals to ensure solutions are correctly implemented
- Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and identify areas of improvement by outlining problems, opportunities and solutions
- Develop clear and concise training/process documents
- Utilise excellent communication skills to manage expectations, maximise output and present critical information such as recommendations
- Identify areas of improvement by outlining problems, opportunities and solutions which are to be reported back to stakeholders
- Coordination of suppliers and or resources on projects. Assist the business with financial transformation, driving process improvement initiatives
- Manage the system validation, testing & roll-out plan of the project and evaluate end-user readiness
- Respectfully challenge team members with a mindset of best practice and continuous improvement
- Support the change management framework
Knowledge, experience and attributes sought:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a systems-based role
- Experience managing digital and data projects and applying project management best practice
- Proven experience implementing technical solution projects
- Strong stakeholder management experience, a clear communicator with the ability to build relationships.
- A person who is approachable with excellent interpersonal skills combined with the ability to influence peers
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to customer service
- A professional, confident and self-assured person with the ability to demonstrate flexibility and apply learnings to improve project success
- Ability to effectively engage subject matter experts and understand technical topics

- A background in accounting is desirable
- Experience with Retail ERP implementation / Odoo is desirable

The Implementation Manager is a six-month contract position, with a view to extend, based in Sydney, Brisbane or Dubbo. The successful candidate must be available for frequent travel to Dubbo, NSW.
