Site Engineer

Focused on civil construction, we are a specialist supplier to the electrical construction industry. We support the installation, maintenance and protection of high voltage underground electricity cables and assets.

With a strong focus on large-scale tenders, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for the main Electrical Utility providers in NSW including Ausgrid, TransGrid & Endeavour Energy along with the major Tier 1 construction contractors.

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team to help successfully deliver some of our major projects.

Overview of role:

As a Site Engineer at Garde Services, you will play a crucial role in the planning, organization, and execution of underground electrical infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include coordinating work crews, managing material procurement, producing work programs, collating information for monthly claims, implementing cost control measures, and tracking stock usage on site.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting the Project Manager to ensure the safe delivery of projects on time and under budget
• Liaise with all project stakeholders
• Resource and labour management
• Planning and programming
• Sub-contractor Management
• Safety, Quality and Environmental Management 

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in engineering
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Focus and commitment to a zero-harm environment and deliver on deadlines
