Regional Group Australia is a leading independent Australian construction material producer across VIC, NSW & QLD. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Sales Manager to join our team.
Overview of role:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing Regional Group’s sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. The Sales Manager will set short and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projected sales volume and profit.
- Developing and driving business by pro-actively sourcing and actioning sales leads.
- Identifying, building and developing new client businesses within target markets.
- Tracking sales goals and reporting results to the Regional Group management team.
- Building commercial and professional networks to support Regional’s strategic growth opportunities.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop and lead tailored solution efforts that best address customer requirements.
- Meet and exceed predetermined KPIs and sales targets.
- Ability to identify and harness new business ideas and opportunities and turn these into sales
- Providing accurate and timely forecasts of future market trends
Knowledge and experience required:
- 3+ years previous experience in a similar role, preferably with sales management
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets and KPI’s
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience in managing and directing a sales team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High-level proficiency with MS Office programs
- Ability to work autonomously
- Current drivers licence
