Regional Group Australia is a leading independent Australian construction materials producer across regional NSW, VIC & QLD. 
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Quarry Manager (SSE) for our quarry operations across Central Queensland.
About the Role:
The primary focus of the Quarry Manager (SSE) is the safe and efficient supervision of operation and sales of the specified quarry. With a focus on safety, the Quarry Manager will have a heavy interest in the day-to-day supervision, management and logistics of the hard rock quarry.
Responsibilities:
 - Responsible for Safety Performance of employees and subcontractors in conjunction with Legislative Requirements and the Mine Safety Management Plan.
 
 - Responsible for meeting and achieving production targets.
 
 - Responsible for Quality Control in conjunction with clients requirements and the site-specific Quarry Management Plan.
 
 - Responsible for Environmental Management and conformance in conjunction with Legislative requirements and the site specific Environmental management plan.
 
 - Responsible for Continuous improvement.
 
 - Responsible for Sales Targets and Budgets
 
 - Responsible for Coordinating Trucks Drivers, Product Deliveries and associated Tasks.
 
 - Responsible for Quarry development and ongoing production plans for the Quarry.
 
 - Hazard identification through active completion of the risk assessment process.
 
 - Complete associated POS reviews, load sheets and collate paperwork daily
 
 - Weekly reporting to the Managing Director
 
Required skills and experience:
 - SSE qualification (essential) 
 
 - Excavator operator experience 
 
 - Loader operator experience 
 
 - Moxy Experience 
 
 - White Card
 
 - HR Licence
 
 - Experience working in a quarry environment
 
 - Relevant RII tickets
 
 - Excellent communication and organization skills
 
 - QLD Site Senior Executive permit
 
 - Strong Management & Leadership Skills
 
 - FIFO / DIDO would be considered
