JLE Group is an industry leading electrical engineering and contracting company based in Dubbo - the regional hub of Central West NSW.
JLE Electrical is thriving and is seeking to expand within Dubbo and beyond; to do so we are currently seeking a Project Electrician to join our team.
Role Summary:
Reporting to the Project Manager and Supervisor, your role will be project based & working with the requirements needed to successfully deliver the expected works. Works may include install, maintain, repairing electrical control, wiring and lighting system as well as basic admin, WHSE reporting & project supervision. You will be required to report to the Project Supervisor when required & deliver all task to successfully complete the scheduled works.
Key responsibilities:
- Read electrical, architectural and mechanical diagrams or drawings.
- Understand electrical specifications and electrical theory to determine job requirements.
- Plan appropriate layouts for electrical wires and wiring systems.
- Identify the right electrical equipment for a particular job.
- Install lighting, power outlets, conduits, cable trays, ladder racks, circuit breakers and emergency lighting.
- Carry out fault-finding.
- Test, repair and maintain electrical equipment.
- Connect electrical equipment and appliances.
- Install motors and switchboards.
- Install automated electrical controls.
- Install voice and data cabling
- Completes electrical projects by supervising installations, resolving design issues.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with codes and legal regulations.
- Accomplishes organisation mission by completing related results as needed
- Deliver high levels of document and administrative requirements
- Liase with clients as required
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Electrical License
- Current driver’s license
