Austek Asphalt Services is seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Arundel, Queensland as part of a long term contract of works. 

In this full-time role, you will play a key part in the execution of our diverse range of Civil construction infrastructure projects, contributing your expertise to ensure their successful delivery.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of Civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to effectively manage project timelines, resources, and logistics
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks, and implementing appropriate strategies to address them
  • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Project Engineering role, preferably within the civil construction industry
  • Strong technical expertise in civil construction works
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on practical, cost-effective solutions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety
