Plaster Delivery Driver
Astley's Plumbing and Hardware are currently looking for a Plaster Deliver Driver to join our team.
The Plaster Delivery Driver will support the sales teams by upholding quality service of delivering orders to customers and tradespeople, loading and restocking the warehouse and maintaining a tidy workplace in the yard.
Responsibilities
- Load & unload of trucks
- Restocking in the warehouse
- Delivery service to trades people and customers
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Dealing with a diverse group of the public & trades people including residential, commercial, and industrial
- Provide excellent customer service
- Find solutions for customers where possible and escalate any issues
- Following company policies & procedures
Knowledge, experience and attributes sought
- Ability to negotiate and use persuasion skills to overcome objections
- Sound understanding of the materials and building industry
- Previous experience in similar role
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Be able to communicate delays in delivery of products and orders
- Current drivers’ licence
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain

The Delivery Driver role is a fulltime position, reporting to the Operations Manager based in Dubbo.
