Paint Sales Consultant

Astley's Plumbing and Hardware have an exciting opportunity for a Paint Sales Consultant to join our team - we have multiple roles available including full-time & part-time flexibility. 

This role will support our customer base and give directions and support to the Counter Sales team. You will also actively submit quotations with guidance provided by the Sales Manager.

The Paint Sales Consultant will focus on continual sales growth and profit management, price integrity, inventory management, customer satisfaction and general administration with the sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop customer base and product range offered to each customer
• Deliver presentations and demonstration products to customers
• Participate and lead sales meetings and on-site training
• Greeting customers and taking orders
• Processing payments
• Assisting with customers queries and provide prompt solutions
• Possess excellent product knowledge and have the ability to inform and increase sales
• Provide recap of results and accomplishments to the Astley’s management team

Knowledge and experience required:

• A background in sales and/or customer service, preferred.
• Have a can-do positive attitude
• Maintain an orderly appearance
• Demonstrate ability to lead and manage staff
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Current drivers licence
