Mobile Crusher / Machine Operator

Experience in operation and maintenance of mobile crushing and screening equipment is essential; you must be well versed in communicating with management and controlling a small crew.

Your work area will primarily cover all VIC operations.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee and operate mobile crushers, screens, loaders, excavators etc
  • Identifying and reporting repairs and maintenance items
  • Optimising mobile equipment to achieve low running costs and conforming materials
  • Conduct machine troubleshooting and minor repairs
  • Ensure safety and compliance documentation is completed and reported
  • Work from remote accommodation on a regular basis during the week
  • Conduct routine screen changes as required
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Maas Group WHS policies and procedures
  • Follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor.

Required skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
