JLE specialises in design and construction of HV and LV power systems including commercial and industrial electrical installations & We are currently seeking motivated people to join our team of Linespersons in Dubbo, NSW to continue this trend.
Role summary:
Reporting to the Project Manager and Supervisor your role will be project based & working with the requirements needed to successfully deliver the expected works. Works may include poles, cables, electrical systems, Labouring and WHSE Tasks. You will be required to report to the Project Supervisor when required & deliver all task to successfully complete the scheduled works.
Key responsibilities:
- Always adhering to safety standards, as well as complying with company and industry regulations
- Installing brackets & Hangers to support Electrical Equipment
- Installing and completing Civil electrical works
- Large Submain Cable Installations
- Install, replace & repair electrical equipment
- Finding and fixing cable faults, and restoring power
- Preserving electrical distribution systems
- Installing metering equipment
- Setting underground transformers and switches
- Keeping accurate reports and records of work activities such as work orders
- Responding to call-outs
- Perform electrical Utility Services on the authority network
- Any other duties appropriate to the role as directed by your supervisor/manager
- Reporting any progress, complications, concerns, or delays to your supervisor
- Reading and Interpret drawings
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Lineman Certification
- Electrical License
- Current driver’s license
- White card
