Joinery Draftsperson
Astleys Plumbing and Hardware Dubbo have an opportunity for a Joinery Draftsperson to join their team.
Astleys joinery provides sales, design and installation of cabinet to the Dubbo region and beyond, servicing both major account customers and trade clients. The business is integrated within the broader MAAS Group network, enabling possible access to a wide range of products, solutions and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Interpreting drawings, architectural plans, specifications and regulations
- Preparing preliminary sketches, technical drawings ,3D visualisations
- Preparation of schedules outlining selected elements such as hardware and material
- Liaising with the sales team to present the drawings to client
- Liaising with the production team for production of cabinetry and successful implementation of designs
- Keeping up to date with latest colours and design concepts
- A commitment to meeting quality standards and deadlines
Knowledge, experience and attributes sought
- Have a background in joinery drafting or cabinetmaking
- Be able to interpret floor plans and elevations
- Strong attention to detail
- Be a team player but also accountable for own workload
- Be able to produce detailed drawings efficiently and accurately
- Be able to work on various projects at any given time
- Take pride in delivering quality work
- Be reliable and show a willingness to learn
- Be able to communicate clearly and professionally
MAAS Group (ASX: MGH) is a multinational company with sustained growth across multiple sectors. This role is with Astleys, its building supplies division, based in Dubbo, NSW, with an office allocated to the role in the trade area. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, liaising with Store Manager, Counter Manager and Trade staff.
