Maas Constructions are currently seeking a motivated Insurance Assessor to join our high performing team servicing the Bathurst region.Position SummaryField based role assessing damage to insured properties to compile concise and accurate builders’ assessment reports and repair budgets for the insurers to review. Budgets accompanying the assessment reports will be compiled using sound industry knowledge, best practice and submitted in formats agreed upon by the business. Insurance Assessor

Position Summary

Budgets accompanying the assessment reports will be compiled using sound industry knowledge, best practice and submitted in formats agreed upon by the business. Responsibilities

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in building and construction industry
  • Minimum 1 year experience assessing in insurance building sector preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to use technology and systems to execute role efficiently
  • Be open minded and willing to be challenged
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards
  • Willing to travel and spend prolonged periods of time working out of the office
  • Current Unrestricted Driver’s License
