Regional Group Australia is a leading independent Australian construction material producer across regional NSW, QLD & VIC. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Crushing and Screening Technician to join our team in a FIFO based role - roster/location flexible based on candidate. You need to specialise in crusher maintenance and fault finding and you will be part of the asset management team.Your work area will primarily cover all East Coast operations and VIC. Crushing and Screening Technician

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Crushing and Screening Technician to join our team in a FIFO based role - roster/location flexible based on candidate. 

You need to specialise in crusher maintenance and fault finding and you will be part of the asset management team.

Your work area will primarily cover all East Coast operations and VIC. You will be part of a 3-4 person specialist team.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Identifying and reporting repairs and maintenance items
  • Optimising mobile equipment to achieve low running costs and conforming materials
  • Conduct machine troubleshooting and minor repairs
  • Ensure safety and compliance documentation is completed and reported
  • Work out of camps in semi remote sites
  • Conduct routine liner and screen changes as required
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Maas Group WHS policies and procedures
  • Carry out onsite training to our quarry team

Required skills and experience:

  • Trade/technical qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High drive and work ethic
  • Well organised
  • Good leadership qualities
  • S1,2,3 G2 desirable
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment prior to commencement on site.
