Astley's Plumbing and Hardware are currently looking for a hardworking full time team player to join our busy trade team. While previous trade knowledge is advantageous; we ensure we provide plenty of on the job and product knowledge training.
As a Counter Sales Consultant, you will be the face of the business dealing directly with trade customers, assisting with sales, stock replenishment, and developing a strong sales standard within the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide great service and advise customers on hardware products and services.
- Build relationships with customers and be able to identify their needs.
- Manage stock levels, minimise shrinkage and stock loss.
- Maintain correct stock tickets.
- Perform stock refill.
Requires skills and attributes:
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements
- Customer Service background
- Knowledge of trade products ideal, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work within a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)
