Construction Materials Technician

We are currently seeking applicants to work in our Wollongong office located in the suburb of Unanderra. The position is full-time.

The position will involve:

  • Liaising with the client to interpret work instructions
  • Field based construction materials testing and sampling
  • Laboratory based testing construction materials to AS & TfNSW test methods
  • Compilation of data into worksheets and generating test reports
  • Reviewing of project specific specifications

Applicants should have:

  • Certificate 4 in Laboratory Techniques (minimum requirement)
  • Nuclear Densometer licence (preferred but not essential)
  • OHS White card
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a NATA accredited construction materials laboratory
  • Working rights in Australia for minimum 12 months including unrestricted working hours.
  • Strong written & fluent English communication skills
  • Good computer competency
  • A current Class C drivers licence

Preferred applicant must undertake pre-employment medical and pass supervised drug and alcohol test.

Remuneration package is based on experience and qualifications.
