About the Role:
Maas Constructions is seeking an organised, customer-focused Claims Consultant to join our growing Insurance business unit. In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage a portfolio of insurance claims from start to finish and act as the primary point of contact for customers, insurers, brokers, trades, and internal teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys helping people, and can balance multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage new claims, identify risks, and deploy emergency services where needed
- Follow insurer-specific workflows and claim-type processes
- Guide insured customers through the full claims process with empathy and clarity
- Manage incoming calls and emails as front-of-house support
- Regularly review claim progress and ensure timeframes are met
- Provide and follow up information with insurers to ensure alignment
- Resolve and escalate complaints with professionalism
- Prepare and submit claim documentation within required timeframes
- Contribute to a supportive, collaborative team culture
About You:
- Minimum 2 years’ administration experience
- Insurance industry exposure (highly beneficial)
- Excellent communication and strong attention to detail
- Advanced negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to multitask and manage high workloads under pressure
- A willingness to learn and adapt to change
- A positive, team-oriented mindset
